Nb53Ti47 Tube Introduction

Significant breakthroughs have been achieved in superconductivity theory and new materials research in recent years. Under current technological conditions, most superconducting materials with significant practical value are alloys or compounds. Common superconducting alloys are mainly Nb-Zr and Nb-Ti systems, primarily used in the manufacture of various types of magnets, superconducting power cables, communication cables, and superconducting electronic components. Research indicates that the main factors influencing the critical temperature Tc, critical magnetic field Hc, and critical current density Ic of Nb-Ti superconducting materials are the composition, microstructure, electronic structure, and the interaction between electrons and lattice vibrations within the Nb-Ti alloy. Therefore, controlling the composition and internal microstructure of the alloy material, including defects, inclusions, precipitates, dislocations, and compositional inhomogeneities is crucial.

Nb53Ti47 Tube Physical Properties and Production Process

Low-temperature superconducting Nb-Ti alloy capillaries with refined microstructure, uniform composition, and fine and uniform grain size; capillary diameter ≤3mm, wall thickness 0.1~0.3mm, and length 1~10m.

Preparation methods include:
1) vacuum smelting;
2) secondary vacuum smelting;
3) vacuum consumable electrode arc furnace melting;
4) hot forging;
5) peeling;
6) skew rolling piercing or machining drilling;
7) rolling;
8) diameter reduction cold drawing.
