Rhenium is a metallic element, one of the high melting point metals, with the same appearance as platinum, soluble in dilute nitric acid or hydrogen peroxide solution, insoluble in hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid. It is a special property of rhenium that it can be oxidized to rhenium Re2O7, which is very stable. Usage: It can be used to make electric filament, outer shell of artificial satellite and rocket, protective plate of atomic reactor, etc.

Introduction: tantalum and hafnium carbide alloy actually refers to four tantalum and hafnium pentacarbide compounds, is the known compounds of the highest melting point of the substance. It can be thought of as consisting of two binary compounds, tantalum carbide (melting point 3983℃) and hafnium carbide (melting point 3928℃).

Description: titanium carbide (TiC) is an extremely hard (mohs hardness up to 9-9.5) refractory ceramic material, similar to tungsten carbide. It is an iron-gray crystal with metallic luster and belongs to the face centered cubic crystal structure of sodium chloride type. It has high melting point, boiling point and hardness, and good thermal and electrical conductivity. It even shows superconductivity at very low temperature.

Application: widely used in the manufacture of cermet, heat-resistant alloy, hard alloy, anti-wear materials, high-temperature radiation materials and other high-temperature vacuum devices.
