The corrosion resistance in seawater is higher than that of aluminum alloy, stainless steel and nickel-based alloy, and the water impact resistance is stronger.

With the continuous development of titanium alloy, more and more demand for high strength, high toughness, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of titanium alloy, especially titanium alloy tube demand more and more, and the processing of titanium alloy tube more and more difficult. Therefore, it is of great significance to design a method for preparing titanium alloy tubes.

It is suitable for titanium alloy tube material. Because a small amount of zirconium with refined grain structure is added, it can form continuous solid solution with titanium. The alloy has high ductility under the condition of high strength. Meanwhile, a small amount of Si element improves the strength and oxidation resistance of titanium alloy tubes.

The preparation method of titanium alloy tube is as follows:

Step 1: Weigh the following raw materials according to mass percentage: Ti 84.74%, Al7.1 %, Fe2.6 %, Zr0.20 %, Si0.16 %, Mo5.2 %, and the sum of mass percentage of the above components is 100%;

Step 2: Mix the metal raw materials measured in step 1 to prepare the tube billet;

Step 3: Heat the tube billet obtained in Step 2 at a heating temperature of 1090℃ and a holding time of 50min;

In step 4, the tube blank obtained in step 3 is perforated by diagonal rolling to get the capillary tube.

Step 5: Add lubricant to the inner and outer surfaces of the tube in Step 4, and continuously roll the tube to obtain the waste tube; The mass ratio of the lubricant to the mass of the tube blank is 0.08:1, and the lubricant is the oil. The process parameters of continuous rolling are as follows: heating temperature is 900℃, holding time is 4h, rolling speed is 90 times /min;

Step 6: Heat the waste tube obtained in Step 5 to 850℃ for tension reduction. The tension reduction deformation is 30% and air cooling is performed to obtain titanium alloy tube.

The titanium alloy tube of the invention can form a continuous solid solution with titanium by adding a small amount of Zr with refined grain structure; The alloy has high ductility under the condition of high strength. At the same time, a small amount of Si element also improves the strength and oxidation resistance of titanium alloy tubes.
