The utility model relates to high speed impact resistance and high strength titanium alloy, belonging to the titanium alloy field. The titanium alloy is Ti Al Mo V Cr alloy, the weight percentage of each component in the alloy is Al: 3.5 ~ 5.5%, V: 4.0 ~ 8.0%, Cr: 5.0 ~ 7.0%, Mo: 3 ~ 7%, the impurity content is less than 0.2%, the allowance is Ti; The mass ratio of primary α phase in the titanium alloy is 3% ~ 15%, and the transverse and longitudinal ratio of primary strip α phase is 1 -3; The titanium alloy has excellent impact resistance, the maximum uniform plastic strain is greater than 0.25, the impact absorption energy is greater than 300MJ/m3. According to the influence of the content of primary α phase and the morphology of primary α phase on the high speed impact resistance, improving the performance of titanium alloy used in high speed impact condition is helpful to expand the application field of titanium alloy.

Titanium and titanium alloys are characterized by low density, high specific strength, high specific stiffness, corrosion resistance, good high and low temperature properties and biocompatibility. Therefore, as ideal structural materials and functional materials, they are widely used in aerospace, ship manufacturing, petrochemical industry, Marine engineering, biomedicine and architectural decoration, and have obtained good economic and social benefits. In the application process of these domains, titanium alloy as a structural material will often withstand the effect of high-speed impact loads, requiring titanium alloy to have excellent dynamic bearing capacity, and still be able to maintain the structural integrity and size stability of its components under impact.

The general impact resistance of titanium alloy was characterized by the stress-strain curve collected after the Hopkinson pressure bar test. The main parameters of the characterization were maximum uniform plastic strain and impact absorption energy. Under the condition of failure of dynamic compression test sample, the stress does not change with the increase of strain or the change becomes small, the corresponding strain variable is the maximum uniform plastic strain. The integral value of the area under the maximum uniform plastic strain section in the dynamic stress-strain curve is the impact absorption work. Generally, its dynamic performance can be greater than 0.25 uniform plastic strain, its impact absorbed energy is greater than 300MJ/m3, which is considered to have good impact resistance. According to the above ratio, commercially available sponge titanium, pure Al, pure Cr, Al-Mo intermediate alloy, Al-V intermediate alloy and Ti-Mo intermediate alloy ingredients were used to press the consumable electrode with a purity greater than 99%. After secondary vacuum consumable arc furnace melting, Ti-Al-Mo-V-Cr alloy ingot was made. When the billet is opened at 950°C ~ 1100°C, the deformation is 60%. After several times of upsetting and drawing to 750°C ~ 820°C, the cumulative deformation is greater than 70%, and the bars or plates of certain specifications are made. After the bars or plates are made, they are cooled 10°C ~ 60°C below the alloy phase transformation point, and the bars or plates are cooled for 1 little time or in the furnace. The dynamic properties of the material were measured by Hopkinson pressure bar test.
