Metal injection molding technology has natural advantages for small size, precision, complex structure parts, mass production can greatly reduce the manufacturing cost. In recent years, with the rapid upgrading of mobile phones, notebook computers and other electronic products, injection molding parts are widely used in 3C, military radar antenna oscillator and other equipment, injection molding technology is ushering in a new take-off.

Titanium alloy is a kind of high performance material with small specific gravity, high specific strength, good corrosion resistance and excellent heat resistance, which is widely used in aerospace, biomedical fields. However, due to the difficulty and high cost of mechanical processing, and the military electronic field, 3c product parts are often light weight, complex shape and structure, which greatly limits the application of titanium alloy in the electronic field. The injection molding process avoids the difficult problem of using titanium alloy rod directly, and solves the problem of forming precision parts by using powder forming parts, which greatly expands the application of titanium alloy in the field of electronics.

Because the particle size of titanium alloy powder used in injection molding process is finer than that of conventional powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing, and the specific surface area of the powder is larger, the performance of the powder, such as sphericity, oxygen content, cleanliness and so on, is required to be higher. The poor properties of powder will greatly affect the elongation and plasticity of titanium alloy parts.
