The element vanadium exists in solid state in titanomagnetite. After the first stage of treatment, the magnetite concentrate enters the traditional baking leaching precipitation process for vanadium recovery. After that, silica (SiO2) is removed from the magnetite concentrate (containing a valuable mineral solution) in order to finally achieve the desired quality standard of the product. Then ammonium sulfate (NH4)2SO4 was added to obtain vanadium precipitate in magnetite concentrate. Vanadium alloy (V-Cr-Ti series) is an important candidate material for the structure of fusion reactor. However, compared with other candidate materials such as ferrite/martensitic steel, researches on the radiation damage of V-Cr-Ti alloys are relatively scarce. V-4Cr-4Ti and V-5Cr-5Ti samples were irradiated with He ion and heavy ion by using energy - loaded ion beam to simulate neutron irradiation conditions in fusion reactor. In the experiment, the gradient energy reduction method of ion beam was used to produce the flat area of radiation damage in the sample, and the irradiation hardening effect of the material was tested by nano indentation technology.

In vanadium extraction process, sodium sulfate is extracted from precipitation waste liquid by evaporation. This sodium element is recycled into the furnace and replaced by sodium carbonate as part of the flux requirement.

The pump extracts waste abrasive fluid from the plant at a rate of 6 -- 8 square meters per hour at a solid particle rate of 60%. The abrasive mining lapping fluid contains more than 80% micron-sized solids, and the specific gravity of the lapping fluid exceeds 2.0. Only a hose pump can pump out such a dense fluid, while maintaining a high utilization rate of the equipment. Centrifugal pumps, by contrast, face continuous downtime and the inability to extract high specific gravity grinding fluid, which also reduces plant efficiency.

In order to better maintain the operation of the VF pumps, the factory has decided to replace all of them with hose pumps with faster maintenance capacity. "Because no glandular water is used in the operation, the pump can be operated in a dry environment, and the rotor design and flange arrangement make maintenance of the factory pump easier." Pumps can now be started up whenever you need them, and shut down only for component changes and regular plant equipment maintenance. In short: this is a very reliable pump equipment!

Only the hose part is the loss of parts of the VF pump maintenance is very simple. The special design and manufacture of the hose minimize the impact of metal fatigue and greatly extend the service life of the hose.
