Titanium-niobium alloy wire is generally used in the manufacture of aircraft rivets. With the rapid expansion of aviation industry, the demand for Titanium-niobium alloy wire is increasing in recent years. Titanium alloy wire is generally made of polycrystalline wire drawing die or high-crystal wire drawing die after multi-pass cold drawing and vacuum annealing. Due to the characteristics of Ti-Nb alloy, it is easy to stick mold in the process of wire drawing deformation.

At present, titanium alloy wire drawing generally adopts solid lubricant. The invention relates to a production method of titanium alloy wire, in which calcium base wire drawing powder or sodium base wire drawing powder is used as lubricant, and the titanium alloy wire billet is made through multi-mode continuous cold drawing and vacuum annealing by using polycrystalline wire drawing die or high-crystal wire drawing die. But the titanium niobium alloy can not be produced by this process because of serious mold adhesion. Nowadays, the preparation and processing of titanium niobium alloy wire with good surface quality, few procedures, high yield and low cost has become a bottleneck, which needs to be solved urgently. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new lubrication method for TiNb alloy wire.

Aiming at the problem that the wire material is easy to stick to the die in the drawing process existing in the prior art, the invention aims to provide a new drawing lubrication method for the titanium niobium wire material. The method consists of the following steps:

A. Put the titanium-niobium wire into the mixed molten salt of sodium chloride and barium carbonate for heat preservation, and wash and draw it after taking it out;

B. Repeat Step A until the TiNb wire is drawn to the required size.

Specifically, in the drawing lubrication method of the titanium and niobium wire, the raw material titanium and niobium wire is obtained by VAR vacuum melting → forging and billet → hot rolling.

Further, in the drawing lubrication method of the above-mentioned TiNb wire, the said raw material TiNb wire is obtained by VAR vacuum melting → forging billet → hot rolling → surface centerless lathe peeling.
