Niobium alloy formed by adding tantalum and tungsten elements to niobium base.

Niobium tantalum tungsten alloy has high tensile strength and creep deformation resistance at high temperature.

The forming process of niobium tantalum tungsten alloy is to add tantalum and tungsten which are mutually soluble with niobium to obtain a typical nb-10w-10ta alloy.

Nb-15w-20ta-15mo alloy can be obtained by further strengthening the content of dissolved elements in order to make full use of the advantage of easy processing.

In order to improve the high temperature strength and creep resistance of the alloy, a small amount of active element zirconium was added to nb-ta-w alloy to form ZrO2 and ZrC particles with oxygen and carbon in the matrix, so that nb-10w-28ta-1zr alloy was obtained.

Niobium tantalum tungsten alloy is usually prepared by electron beam melting and vacuum arc melting, and by conventional plastic processing technology, it can be made into plates, belts, rods, wires, forgings and other materials for the manufacture of nuclear reactor components, aerospace aircraft, high-performance jet engine turbine blades, missile parts and so on.
