High strength titanium alloy refers to the room temperature tensile strength between 1100 ~ 1400MPa titanium alloy, composed of nearly titanium alloy and metastable titanium alloy. The first industrial application was Ti13V11Cr3Al titanium alloy, whose tensile strength reached 1350MPa at room temperature. Later, the cold-forming plate titanium alloy Ti15V3Cr3A13Sn and Ti8V6Cr4Mo3A14Zr, etc. which were used for springs and fasteners, were developed. Composed of nearly titanium alloy and metastable titanium alloy. It is mainly used to replace the high-strength structural steel commonly used in aircraft structures, and can reduce the structural weight by 10%. The first practical application is ti-13v-11cr-3al sub-stable titanium alloy, whose tensile strength at room temperature reaches 1350MPa. It is mainly used for manufacturing plate parts and springs. Then came the cold-forming plate titanium alloy ti-15v-3cr-3al-3sn and the sub-stable high-strength titanium alloy ti-8v-6cr-4mo-3a1-4zr for springs and fasteners.

Ti-10v-2fe-3al type high strength titanium alloy is a forged titanium alloy with high structural efficiency, high reliability and low manufacturing cost developed to adapt to the design principle of damage tolerance. Three kinds of tensile strength and fracture toughness can be achieved by different solution aging treatment. It also has excellent forging process performance, can be in 760-800 degrees Celsius isothermal or hot die forging, the production of precision or semi-precision die forging. It can work under 320 degrees Celsius for a long time, and has been widely used in the manufacture of various important structural parts of aircraft landing gear, fuselage and wings.
