Titanium is one of the most widely used materials in industry and plays an important role in industrial fields such as defense, automobiles, ships, and aerospace, as well as in daily life. Shape memory alloys represented by TiNi alloy have unique shape memory effect and can output large stress and strain, and have been widely used in medicine, industry and life.

The compressive and tensile mechanical properties of binary TiZr alloy are not very ideal, and the compressive strength of Ti50Zr50 alloy is 1278 MPa and the fracture deformation is 15.8%. The tensile strength is 801 MPa and the fracture deformation is 4.7 %. The shape memory effect when compressed to 14% prestrain is 1.1%.

The Ni element in TiNi alloy has poor biotoxicity and biocompatibility, which limits its application as biomedical materials. In addition, many existing shape memory alloys also have poor corrosion resistance defects, which have become an important factor affecting the application of shape memory alloys, limiting the application of shape memory alloys in industry.

A titanium zirconium tantalum shape memory alloy material, calculated according to the percentage of the amount of material of each component of the alloy material, is composed of 45.5 ~ 48.5at. % of titanium, 45.5 ~ 48.5at. % of zirconium and 3 ~ 9 at.% of tantalum, and the sum of the content of titanium zirconium tantalum three metal element components is 100%.

As the preferred technical scheme of the invention, titanium-zirconium-tantalum shape memory alloy material has the following physical characteristics:

(1) The compressive physical experimental characteristics of the material at room temperature: the compressive strength is 1200 ~ 1350 MPa, the fracture deformation is 12 ~ 28%;

(2) The tensile physical experimental characteristics of the material at room temperature: the tensile strength is 610 ~ 890 MPa, the fracture deformation is 14 ~ 21%, the plastic deformation is 9 ~ 16%, and the shape memory effect of titanium zirconium tantalum shape memory alloy is 0.2 ~ 8.6%.
