Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al Introduction

Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al alloy is a kind of stable β-type titanium alloy. The cold rolling and cold forming property of the alloy are excellent, as well as its welding performance and corrosion resistance. TB5 alloy is mainly used to manufacture various kinds of sheet metal components and fasteners. It can improve structural efficiency and production efficiency, and reduce manufacturing cost as well. The main semi-finished products of the alloy are titanium sheets, titanium strips and titanium rods and also can produce titanium pipe fittings and castings.

Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al titanium alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of high strength sheet metal parts in aircraft structure and rivets for cold riveting such as aircraft resistance umbrella beams and its matched rivets. In the satellite structure, it is used for distant engine supports and cones. On the civilian field, it is applied in golf heads.
