Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo Introduction

Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo is a high aluminum-content martensite α + β two-phase thermal titanium alloy. It is developed on the basis of the composition of Ti-6242 alloy. The alloy maintains the high temperature creep strength of Ti-6242 alloy and obviously improves tensile strength at room temperature and high temperature. The alloy has better comprehensive performance, it can be used for pressure machining, machining, etc., its main semi-finished products are titanium rod, forging and titanium sheet etc.

Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo Application

Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo alloy is used for medium temperature range aero-engine compressor disk, fan plate and blade and other important components. This alloy is also used for acid deep well surveying, but its creep performance is lower than that of Ti-6242, which can be used to produce components that require high strength under 400 ˚C.
