Ti-0.2Pd (Grade 7) Introduction

Ti-0.2Pd (Grade 7) Titanium alloy with addition of small quantities of precious metals palladium and pure industrial titanium. The palladium of the alloy improves not only the corrosion resistance in reducing medium, but also its corrosion resistance in oxidizing medium. In high temperature and high concentration of various chloride media, Ti-0.2Pd alloy has the strongest anti-crevice corrosion resistance. Ti-0.2Pd has various properties similar to industrial pure titanium, so the alloy is widely used in chemical industry, especially petrochemical industry. The main products of Ti-0.2Pd alloy are titanium sheet, titanium rod, titanium tube, casting and titanium wire.

Ti-0.2Pd (Grade 7) Application

Ti-0.2Pd alloys are mainly used in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, dilute phosphoric acid environment and widely used in titanium equipment to prevent crevice corrosion. Tubular heat exchangers made from Ti-0.2Pd alloy can be used in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid and dilute phosphoric acid. In the textile industry, the alloy is used as a spinneret. A large number of titanium equipment flange rings and diamond gaskets are made in acetaldehyde devices. Other devices also use Ti-0.2Pd to make flanges and joints. The alloy is also used as a structural material for C2H2Cl2.
