Tantalum and niobium are rare metals with high melting point, widely used in aerospace, military industry, semiconductor and other fields, and are indispensable metal materials in high-tech industry. Tantalum and niobium mineral resources are abundant in China, but there are few single deposits. Most of them are associated with rare metals such as rubidium and beryllium, which have great comprehensive utilization value.

The separation of tantalum and niobium minerals is usually recovered by gravity separation, magnetic separation and flotation according to different properties of tantalum and niobium minerals. For example, for ores with high density tantalum and niobium minerals and coarsely disseminated tantalum and niobium minerals, gravity separation is usually adopted as the main separation process. For ores with large mineral density and coarsely disseminated tantalum and niobium minerals, the separation process combining gravity separation with magnetic separation and electric separation is mostly adopted. For ores with high mineral density and fine disseminated tantalum and niobium minerals, flotation is mainly used for separation. However, for the associated tantalum and niobium minerals with uneven grain size, dispersed distribution, complex composition and rich in other rare metals, the above methods have the defects of low tantalum and niobium recovery, low grade tantalum and niobium concentrate, and unreasonable recovery and utilization of other valuable metals.

In view of the defects in the prior art, the present invention proposes a mineral processing process for the comprehensive recovery of complex associated tantalum-niobium ore, aiming at the uneven disseminated grain size of tantalum-niobium mineral, the difficulty in recovery and the minerals with high utilization value of generated metal.
