Titanium-aluminum-based alloys have attracted wide attention due to their excellent properties, such as low density, excellent high temperature strength, good oxidation resistance and creep resistance. This alloy is an advanced high-temperature structural material with great application potential, but its low room temperature ductility and fracture toughness seriously limit its practical use. Through alloying and organization control can greatly improve the mechanical properties of the alloy, but the use of ordinary titanium aluminum alloy temperature is lower than 850℃, but because of the inherent brittleness of titanium aluminum alloy, the processing performance of this type of material is very poor, in hot processing, it is easy to cause a sharp reduction in processing performance due to heat loss, and the alloy workpiece fracture and damage, while when high temperature processing, Due to oxidation, the thermal workability of the alloy will be further reduced.

The niobium-titanium ingot was cold-pressed and forged into a hollow niobium-titanium sheath with a wall thickness of 5mm. The ingot of niobium-titanium-aluminum base alloy was packed into the jacket and cold-pressed forging was carried out. The thickness of the ingot was 10mm after controlling the pass type variable of 7%. The ingot of niobium-titanium-aluminum base alloy was put into the heating furnace for aging heat treatment, the heating temperature was 500℃, and the heat treatment time was 15min. The initial plates were prepared by rolling the ingots at 1200℃ and the average pass type variable of 5%. The rolled niobium-titanium-aluminum base alloy plate was prepared by aging heat treatment, Ar gas protection atmosphere, heating temperature of 500℃ and heat treatment time of 10min.

The beneficial effect is that the preparation method of niobium-titanium-aluminum based alloy plate, through the coating method of niobium-titanium-aluminum based alloy ingot forging and rolling, the possibility of fracture of niobium-titanium-aluminum based alloy is reduced, and the processing performance of a niobium-titanium-aluminum based alloy plate is improved.
