Rhodium Introduction

The resistance coefficient of rhodium wire is 4.67 x 10-2Ω·mm2/m, tensile strength is 726MPa, and the elongation is 46%.The argon gas of high frequency furnace is used to protect melting. The Rhodium wire is processed into 0.02mm filament by melting, remelting 2~3 times, bottom pouring, hot processing and cold processing in the protection of high frequency furnace argon. It is a good high temperature thermocouple material. The temperature stability of Rh - PtRh20 thermocouple is good, it doesn’t need stringent cold junction compensation. Operating temperature is 1800 ℃. There are also Rh-PtRe8 and Rh-Rh Re8.
